The RoleAs Registered Manager, you will provide both strategic and operational leadership, ensuring the home remains safe, nurturing, and fully compliant with Ofsted and regulatory requirements. Acting as the safeguarding lead, you will champion emotionally attuned, trauma informed practice and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
You will inspire and develop your team, ensuring each child receives exceptional, personalised care that enables them to grow, build confidence and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver strong, compassionate and confident leadership
- Oversee daily operations and maintain regulatory compliance
- Embed trauma informed, child centred approaches
- Manage budgets, staffing structures, rotas and resources
- Drive quality assurance and continuous improvement
- Build trusted relationships with children, families and professionals
- Lead safeguarding processes and maintain robust standards
- Supervise, mentor and develop staff at all levels
- Contribute to strategic planning and long‑term service development
- Passionate about achieving outstanding outcomes for children
- Confident managing and leading a regulated children's service
- Skilled in trauma informed and emotionally intelligent leadership
- Focused on quality, compliance and service development
- A strong communicator who builds trust and positive partnerships
- Committed to reflective practice and team development
- Professional, resilient and firmly child‑focused
- Holding, or working towards, a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Residential Childcare)
