About the Company – We are currently working with a top firm in the UK looking for highly skilled candidates at Audit Manager and Senior Audit Manager level across multiple locations in the UK. This role provides an excellent opportunity for professionals to take on leadership responsibilities while helping to shape the future of audit services.

About the Role – Ideal candidate would have 1-2 years experience at the relevant level. Must be a fully qualified CA. You will be responsible for leading and managing audit engagements for clients in a variety of industries. You will oversee audit teams, ensure compliance with auditing standards, deliver high-quality results, and provide strategic insights to senior management. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of audit processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead teams to success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and manage the full audit process from start to finish, ensuring the highest level of quality and compliance with applicable auditing standards.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor audit staff, providing guidance and support throughout the audit cycle.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for clients regarding audit matters.
  • Review and evaluate financial statements, internal controls, and risk management processes to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and senior management in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address client needs and identify areas for improvement in business operations.
  • Manage the preparation of audit reports and ensure timely delivery of work products.
  • Keep up-to-date with developments in audit standards, regulations, and industry trends to provide clients with best practices and up-to-date advice.
  • Oversee the preparation of audit budgets and manage the audit team’s workload to meet deadlines.
  • Monitor the progress of audit engagements, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Fully qualified CA with 2+ years of post-qualified experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in audit, with at least 2 years experience in a relevant role.
  • Strong knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with audit software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence.
