Job Title: Regional Sales Manager - Southern England

The Southern Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the business within the south of the UK. This comprises developing and nurturing the people, executing on the UK & Ireland strategy, maximising the business opportunities and profits, and setting a winning culture where double digit growth is sustained into the future.

Territory/Team: Southern England - Team of 5 experienced BDM's

Package: Basic (dependent on experience but very competitive indeed) + Bonus/Commission 50%, Car Allowance £900 + Pension + Private Health Insurance + Fuel Card + 23 Days Holiday

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Adhere with the company’s Quality Management System to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Exceed & deliver against the quarterly and yearly business Budget whilst managing a recurring revenue pipeline development alongside accurate Forecasting vs. Budget reporting directly into the General Manager.
  • Planning, executing, and monitoring of all measures necessary to guarantee achieving regional budget, sales, and profits.
  • Always lead the business with integrity and lead by example in all interactions (internal and external).
  • Develop the team’s culture to focus on retention of the best talent and growth of the team.
  • Responsibility for all aspects of talent development within the talent spectrum.
  • Responsibility for implementation of the divisional strategy within the region.
  • Be a pro-active part of the UK Leadership team, actively pursuing individual and team goals and challenges to always ensure the team is improving and learning from one another.
  • This encompasses in particular:
  • The selection, leadership, development, engagement, and supervision of the assigned sales team.
  • Coach and nurture the team onto new success, easily identify top talent, and put in place individualized development plans for this group to sustain the high-performance culture and future leadership.
  • Understands and can show evidence of the need for continuous performance improvement plans for all employees.
  • Shows evidence of developing team spirit, balancing results with reward.
  • Control all resources and materials in his/her related sales area.
  • In collaboration with the UK & Ire General Manager, understand P&L, balance sheets and cashflow statements and can work with this information to maximize results.
  • Take a lead in your designated DSO accounts to build strong relationships with their “C” suite management team, to enable our team to get access into the accounts.
  • Increase revenue within existing DSO business, including by utilizing data to identify sales trends to focus the UK & Ireland team’s business efforts to maximise revenue.
  • Identify new business opportunities within UK & Ireland DSOs.
  • Play a key role in tenders, negotiations, and procurement processes in UK & Ireland DSOs.
    • Other duties as assigned.
