What you'll be doing?

Within the construction environment, you will have the opportunity to buy materials, manage large projects, ensure health and safety, and provide customer service. We are currently involved in some 400 developments across the UK, ranging from brownfield projects to adaptive reuse of existing buildings.

We need people who can bring fresh ideas and imagination on one hand, and the commercial ability to manage people, budgets and costs on the other. For the thirteenth year in a row, our site managers have won more NHBC Pride in the Job Awards than any other house builder.

Reporting to the site manager, you will assist in the management of the site, supporting active learning about site management and construction. All activities must support the delivery of targets in health and safety, programme quality, customer care, and cost.

  • Ensuring compliance on site at all times to the company health and safety standards and processes, NHBC standards, building regulations, and overall quality standards.
  • Reporting any activities or actions to the site manager that could affect health and safety, quality, customer care, or cost.
  • Liaising with other internal departments, external suppliers and partners to ensure the build programme is achieved.
  • Helping to monitor material levels on site to ensure minimum stock while meeting the programme and employing all labour efficiently.
  • Ensuring that all plots are built to the highest standard of quality while contributing to a high standard of overall site presentation.
  • Reporting defects on IFix.
  • Showing a good behavioural example in all aspects of health & safety, organisation, conduct, quality of work and professionalism.
What You’ll Need
  • Confident communicator with a positive attitude.
  • Show signs of leadership and developing assertive skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, demonstrating good problem‑solving ability.
  • Appetite for learning and gaining experience in all areas of site management and customer care.
