Project Manager – Internals | Major Education Development | Cardiff

Sphere Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a leading Tier 1 contractor for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in internals delivery. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a flagship £100m education project near Cardiff, playing a pivotal role in delivering all internal packages to the highest standards.

You’ll be joining the project at an early stage, working as part of a high-performing team on a 2.5-year programme, responsible for driving quality, programme and coordination across all internal trades.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the delivery of internal fit-out packages, ensuring work is completed to programme, quality and health & safety benchmarks

* Manage subcontractor teams, sequencing and site coordination to maintain smooth workflow

* Collaborate closely with the wider project team, commercial team and design managers

* Oversee inspections, snagging, and quality control processes throughout the internals phase

* Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring proactive problem-solving on site

* Maintain excellent communication with stakeholders, promoting a collaborative approach

Requirements

* Proven experience delivering internals packages on large-scale construction projects

* Strong technical understanding of internal finishes, sequencing and quality standards

* Demonstrable leadership capability with the ability to manage multiple subcontractor teams

* Excellent organisational and communication skills

* Based near Cardiff or within a commutable distance

* Ability to commit to a long-term, multi-year project
