• Working within a yard environment picking/packing goods.
• Providing a high level of customer service by supplying the correct materials.
• Checking goods‑in against delivery notes and booking them in on the Wolseley System, then putting them away accurately and safely.
• Accurately picking and labelling goods booked out to customers and other branches using the Wolseley System, ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed.
• Maintaining standards of housekeeping and adhering to health and safety guidelines, including manual handling techniques, use of loading equipment and PPE.

This is a permanent, full‑time position working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7am‑5pm. No weekend work required.

• Industry or merchant experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Proven experience in customer service/warehouse environments.
• Good communication skills.
• A dependable team‑player approach, prepared to support in all areas of the branch with a strong work ethic.
• Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and be prepared to work outside up to 80% of the time.
