HCB Widdows Mason is seeking a qualified and experienced Residential Conveyancer to join our dedicated property team. This role is an excellent opportunity for those looking to advance their career in residential conveyancing while working in a supportive and client-focused environment.
As a Residential Conveyancer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a caseload of residential property transactions from initial instruction to completion, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
- Conducting property searches, reviewing contracts, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Providing expert legal advice to clients regarding their rights and obligations throughout the transaction process.
- Coordinating with other professionals, including mortgage lenders, estate agents, and local authorities.
- Preparing and submitting applications to the Land Registry and handling documentation related to Stamp Duty Land Tax.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely updates for all cases.
- Staying updated on current legislation and trends in residential conveyancing.
Requirements:
- Qualified and licensed as a Solicitor (SRA), Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX), or Licensed Conveyancer (CLC).
- Proven experience in managing residential conveyancing transactions.
- Strong understanding of property law, practices, and relevant regulations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in case management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to handle a high volume of work and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Competitive salary dependent on experience
