Personal Injury/Industrial Disease Solicitor – Cardiff

Join a Legal 100 specialist claimant-focused team of expert solicitors provides specialist advice to clients who have suffered preventable injuries or workplace-related illnesses.

The Role:

This opportunity is available for a newly qualified Solicitor up to 3

PQE to manage a diverse caseload of personal injury and industrial disease claims.

What you will do:

Taking initial client enquiries and drafting witness statements
Managing disclosure and reviewing documents
Keeping clients updated on their claims
Assisting in instructing counsel and preparing court documents
Preparing detailed schedules of loss
Assessing complex medical or occupational health issues and reviewing expert reports
Advising on offers and settlement negotiations
Proactively managing a caseload with minimal supervision
Supporting and supervising the Paralegal team

Skills &

Qualifications:

Exposure to claimant litigation is essential
Previous industrial disease or personal injury experience is advantageous but not essential
