Position: DEVELOPMENT CO-ORDINATOR

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Housing & Communities Service Area for a Development Coordinator within the Dry Homes Team, Responsive Repairs Unit.

About the job

The Development Co-ordinator (Damp and Disrepair) will be responsible for the monitoring and co-ordination of disrepair and damp cases including reviewing, developing, and updating associated procedures. Ensuring there is robust case management and co-ordination of teams to deal with cases appropriately.

What We Are Looking For From You

The successful candidate will have experience working within a housing-related environment with emphasis on repairs and maintenance. They will also have excellent communication skills and have the ability to provide this in the appropriate manner to all service users, staff and operatives.

You will need to be well-organised and able to work on your own initiative, as well as working as part of a team. You will also need to demonstrate the ability to analyse and interpret complex legislation and translate this into appropriate procedures.
