About St. Vincent’s Consulting

St. Vincent's Consulting (STV Consulting) is a UK-based consultancy that specialises in digital transformation for NHS and healthcare organisations. They deliver services through a peer-level group of senior NHS and supplier leaders, offering digital strategy, new hospital programmes, cyber security, electronic patient record (EPR) implementation, and a collaborative digital solutions hub — all designed to improve patient outcomes while remaining cost-effective.

The Role

Working in conjunction with St Vincents Resourcing, we are looking for an experienced Resource Manager to take genuine ownership of how we identify, engage, and retain talent across our consulting programmes. This is a client-facing, commercially active role — one that demands real judgement, not just process management. In addition, the role will also provide client facing support functions aligned to the delivery of services and client relationships.

You will build and sustain senior-level relationships across NHS trusts, ICBs, and health tech organisations, and bring the experience to match the right people to the right engagements. Understanding what a programme actually demands — not just what a job description says — is what sets this role apart.

You will also play a meaningful part in shaping how our internal resourcing function develops, contributing to strategy and process alongside day-to-day delivery.

  • Develop and manage talent pipelines across consulting and permanent health tech engagements, with a focus on quality, relevance, and depth of relationship
  • Operate with a clear understanding of how consulting engagements are structured commercially — how value is built, scoped, and communicated within NHS and health tech environments
  • Build and maintain client-facing relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a credible point of contact across EPR, digital transformation, and New Hospital Programme environments
  • Work closely with St. Vincent's Consulting delivery teams to ensure resourcing decisions reflect programme realities and client expectations
  • Contribute to the development of our internal resourcing strategy, including engagement methodology and talent mapping across specialist health tech disciplines
  • You will also play a meaningful role ensuring that the delivery of services as provided by the team meets client expectations and that support functions are maintained.
  • Provide oversight for the placed team members to ensure their effectiveness and connections to the client and St Vincent’s Consulting
  • Support delivery functions related execution, invoicing and project commercial projections
  • Maintain positive client relationships with aligned stakeholders

This role will operate in a matrixed environment alongside the Project Support, Commercial, Client Management and Finance teams. This role will report to the Chief Operating Officer.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone with a genuine understanding of the consulting environment. The following experience is relevant — but we are as interested in how you think as in what you have done.

  • A background in resourcing or talent acquisition within a consultancy, professional services environment, or specialist health tech setting
  • An understanding of how consulting engagements are commercially structured, and the ability to articulate value clearly to senior clients and candidates
  • Demonstrable experience managing and nurturing talent pipelines within specialist or technically complex markets
  • Solid working knowledge of the NHS landscape, EPR programmes, or digital health transformation — existing sector familiarity is essential, not optional
  • Experience contributing to internal process or strategy development, not just operational delivery
  • The confidence and credibility to represent St. Vincent's Consulting at senior client level and hold meaningful relationships with NHS and health tech stakeholders
Personal Qualities

St. Vincent’s Consulting is built on the quality of its people. These qualities are not a wish list — they describe how our team operates and what we expect of everyone who joins us.

  • Agile
  • Sector-curious
  • Commercial Business Acumen
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Resilient
  • Invested in the mission
Apply

If you have the background, the sector knowledge, and the appetite to work within a consultancy that takes both its work and its people seriously — we would welcome a conversation.
