Job Description & How to Apply Below

Help us deliver brilliant change at Target.

We’re looking for a confident, proactive and collaborative Project Manager to join our Change Delivery team. If you thrive in a client-facing environment, enjoy working across multi-functional teams, and feel energised by delivering high-quality change, this could be an exciting next step for you.

In this role, you’ll lead the delivery of client change projects and internal improvement initiatives across a variety of business areas – including technology, operations and regulatory change. You’ll work closely with clients, third parties, technical specialists, operational experts and our onshore and offshore delivery teams to ensure change lands smoothly, on time and to the standard our clients expect.

What it’s like to be part of our team

Our Project Management team sits at the heart of delivery. We’re a friendly, supportive and knowledgeable group who collaborate closely and share expertise. You’ll work with colleagues right across Target — including senior leaders — and have plenty of opportunities to develop, grow and make a real impact.

We care about wellbeing, we celebrate success through our My Recognition platform, and we take pride in creating a positive, inclusive and fun working environment.

What you’ll be doing
  • Leading client-facing and internal change projects from initiation to implementation, ensuring delivery to time, cost and quality
  • Delivering change across multi-functional teams, including operational, technical and business SMEs
  • Working closely with technical delivery managers, software engineers and testers – holding confident technical conversations without needing to be a deep expert
  • Managing delivery across onshore and offshore teams
  • Engaging with clients, stakeholders and third parties at all levels and building strong, trusted relationships
  • Running steering groups and keeping everyone aligned and informed
  • Planning and resourcing projects, including scoping, estimating and scheduling
  • Managing budgets, forecasts and financial reporting
  • Identifying, managing and resolving project risks, issues and dependencies
  • Supporting bids and shaping realistic, achievable delivery plans
  • Ensuring robust governance, quality assurance and effective handovers into BAU
  • Driving continuous improvement and embedding lessons learned across projects
What we’re looking for

You’ll be great in this role if you are:

  • Highly organised with strong planning and time‑management skills
  • Experienced in delivery client-facing change
  • Skilled at planning and managing complex, cross-functional delivery
  • An excellent communicator who builds effective working relationships with clients, internal teams and third parties
  • Confident leading steering meetings, workshops and multi‑stakeholder discussions in‑person and remotely
  • Calm under pressure, great at problem‑solving and skilled at resolving challenges and conflict
  • Someone who takes ownership, drives momentum and enjoys making things happen
Experience & qualifications

You’ll bring:

  • A recognised Project Management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMI, APM PMQ)
  • Experience managing projects to time, cost and quality
  • Experience working in a BPO and/or managed service environment
  • Strong understanding of project life cycles, quality frameworks and governance
  • Experience working with waterfall and hybrid methodologies
  • Experience delivering change involving operational, technical and business teams
  • Experience working confidently with project planning tools such as MS Project and Smartsheet
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, Teams and Kanban boards
  • Experience managing RAID logs and providing clear, structured reporting
It’s a bonus if you also have:
  • Scrum Master, Agile PM or Change Management experience
  • Knowledge of regulated Financial Services
  • Experience with data migration projects
  • Understanding of Target’s industry sectors (e.g. lending, public sector, investments)
Why join Target?

At Target, you’ll be part of a supportive, collaborative team where your contribution really matters. We value personal growth, encourage new ideas, and give you space to develop your career. You’ll be recognised for great work, supported through regular feedback, and surrounded by people who…
