SR2 is supporting a major digital transformation programme focused on upgrading a large-scale website from Drupal 7 to Drupal 10. With Drupal 7 reaching end-of-life in September, this is a critical go-live for the client and requires an experienced Web Tester to ensure a smooth transition.

We’re looking for someone who has worked on upgrade or migration programmes before — ideally comfortable testing web platforms, APIs, and integrations, as well as engaging with both technical and business stakeholders.

This isn’t just about running test scripts: you’ll play a key role in quality assurance, communication, and ensuring accessibility and performance are met as the programme approaches its September deadline.

Key Responsibilities:

Test end-to-end migration from Drupal 7 to Drupal 10

Validate APIs and 3rd party integrations across the platform

Conduct accessibility testing (WCAG, load-bearing accessibility requirements)

Work closely with FE/BE developers, business teams, and programme stakeholders

Provide presentations and updates on testing progress and risks

Support go-live readiness for September 20thTech Environment:

Drupal 7 / 10, APIs, 3rd Party Integrations, Accessibility Testing Tools, Agile Delivery

Ideal

Experience:

Experience testing large-scale web upgrade/migration programmes

Strong background in API and integration testing

Accessibility testing knowledge (WCAG 2.1 AA or similar)

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Able to work across FE/BE teams and business users

Previous Drupal knowledge useful but not essential — upgrade experience more important The Details:

Cardiff-based, 2 days per week on-site
