Solutions Architect - Manager

PwC’s Managed Services delivers trusted expertise, rapid execution, and enduring outcomes by blending cutting‑edge technology with deep operational insight. As part of the Solutioning Team within the Managed Service Catalyst—a specialist group driving PwC’s managed services growth—this role plays a pivotal part in designing and scaling high‑impact solutions. Collaborating across Sales Directors, Solution Architects and enabling functions, the role leads the development and execution of robust solutioning methodologies and ensures our offerings address complex client challenges and position PwC to win and deliver transformative managed services engagements.

• Engage with potential clients to understand their business needs, operational challenges, and requirements.
• Ensure all opportunities, before they are solutioned, are appropriately qualified, including preparation of qualification papers for review meetings.
• Design and propose comprehensive solutions to address the client’s needs, whether technological, operational or a combination.
• Create high‑level designs, including operating and delivery models, transition and implementation plans. Ensure the proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, cost‑effective and well documented.
• Identify potential risks and challenges associated with the proposed solutions and develop mitigation strategies.
• Conduct cost‑benefit analyses to demonstrate the value and ROI of the proposed solutions.

• Experience in designing outsourcing solutions across business operations and/or IT operations.
• Experience embedding digital tools and technology to power operations and designing transition and transformation plans.
• Familiarity with business case development and assessing return on investment.
• Mentoring and coaching peers and colleagues to share knowledge and best practice.
• Experience creating client proposals that deliver differentiated, high‑quality solutions.
