Role DescriptionAs a Payroll Analyst you will supervise and oversee the entire payroll process to ensure that all payments to employees are accurate and processed on time. You will be responsible for verifying that payroll transactions comply with internal policies relevant tax regulations ensuring timely remittance to tax authorities. By maintaining meticulous records and conducting regular audits you will help guarantee the integrity and confidentiality of payroll data and support overall compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
This role will be reporting to the Payroll Operations Manager‑UK&I.
Role Accountabilities- Supervise effective payroll service for business
- Review changes to employee remuneration (eg starters / leavers) and details before submission to payroll provider
- Check monthly payroll outputs & co-ordinate manual payments
- Handle absence maternity and shared parental leave
- Deal with employee queries
- Provide specialist advice to internal clients
- Assess and evaluate processes in order to identify improvement opportunities
- Qualified payroll qualification or equivalent by experience
- Experience with medium/large payroll
- Good understanding of technical principles on reward and tax
- Excel literate and good experience of payroll systems
- Consistent high standards and methodical
- Highly motivated
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Confidence to interact effectively with employees and payroll provider
- Excellent time management skills
