Responsibilities

As Hotel Maintenance Assistant you'll be responsible for ensuring the hotel's facilities, equipment, and grounds are well-maintained and in good working order. The role involves responding to maintenance requests, performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and ensuring the hotel's facilities are clean, safe, and well‑maintained for guests and employees.

• Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques: understanding of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other equipment commonly found in hotels.
• Communication and customer‑service skills: interacting with guests and colleagues.
• Attention to detail: ability to identify potential maintenance issues before they turn into bigger problems.
• Time management: ability to effectively manage your time to prioritise key hotel projects.
• Technical skills: basic knowledge of computer systems and maintenance‑management software.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Passion for providing an exceptional guest experience and living through our brand standards.
