Consultant Psychologist

Overview

This is a part-time role working 22.5 hours per week across 3 days. Pro Rata salary for this role is £40,168.00. The unit will provide a modern, homely environment promoting independence, whilst employing an experienced Multi-Disciplinary Team to oversee and support patient progress. As a Registered Psychologist you’ll work alongside colleagues from Psychiatry, Nursing, Occupational Therapy and Social Work to provide high quality care.

The Psychologist we are looking for will be experienced in assessment and formulation to help determine the treatment needs of individual service users. A background in Positive Behaviour Support would be beneficial. The role will also include providing training to staff, running reflective practice, writing risk assessments and providing individual and group interventions, to meet the needs of the population.

• Registered Psychologist (UK).
• Experience in assessment and formulation.
• Background in Positive Behaviour Support is beneficial.

All roles are subject to a successful disclosure at an appropriate level from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), Access NI or Disclosure Scotland. Priory will cover the cost of a DBS check.
