About The Role
We are seeking a clinically confident and experienced Lead Pharmacist to take ownership of pharmacy leadership at our Scimitar Park site. This is a non-patient-facing role, focused on high-cost, specialist medications not commonly seen in community pharmacy.
As the site’s Lead Pharmacist, you will play a pivotal role in medicines management, clinical decision-making, and regulatory compliance. You’ll bring strong clinical judgement, leadership capability, and the confidence to make decisions based on experience and best practice.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the Responsible Pharmacist for the site
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight of pharmacy operations
- Lead and develop a team of pharmacists and technicians
- Ensure compliance with GPhC standards and regulatory frameworks
- Support medicines management and clinical governance initiatives
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive service excellence
- Contribute to audits, quality improvement, and business projects
- Leading the pharmacy team and ensuring smooth daily operations
- Making clinical decisions based on best practice and experience
- Supporting staff development through mentoring and coaching
- Liaising with QA, compounding, and customer service teams
- Driving continuous improvement in pharmaceutical care

GPhC-registered Pharmacist with Independent Prescribing qualification
Proven experience in a senior or leadership role such as regional management
Strong background in medicines management
Clinically confident with sound judgement and decision‑making skills
Excellent communication, mentoring, and organisational abilities
