Overview
To assist and support the Head of Employee Health and Wellbeing Services as part of a multidisciplinary team in the coordination, provision and delivery of an effective high-quality Occupational Health service, providing specialist advice and clinical services to the managers and staff of Cardiff and Vale (CAV) University Health Board / Cwm Taf Morgannwg (CTM) University Health Board. Primarily this post will meet the needs of the Health Board;
however it may also cover a wide range of clients from both public and private sectors. The post holder will operate within a collaborative working model which encompasses both CAV and CTM University Health Boards with a requirement to work across all Occupational Health sites where required, and may also provide a service to external organisations as directed. The post holder will work directly with clients to provide a comprehensive Occupational Health Service and will undertake all aspects of line management in relation to the Occupational Health nursing team as part of the collaborative model.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post;

- Provide specialist advice and clinical services as part of the Occupational Health service for managers and staff across partner Health Boards and external organisations as required.
- Coordinate, deliver and ensure high-quality Occupational Health services within a collaborative model spanning multiple sites.
- Work directly with clients to provide comprehensive Occupational Health support.
- Undertake all aspects of line management for the Occupational Health nursing team within the collaborative framework.
- Collaborate across CAV and CTM University Health Boards and across all Occupational Health sites as required.
- Welsh language ability is desirable;
