This is a Project Worker role based across our supported housing services in the Cardiff area. This variety offers the opportunity to work within different schemes and resident groups. Working in a team, you will provide specialist support to individuals aged 21+ who are experiencing homelessness with complex needs and are motivated to address their alcohol and substance use issue. You will provide housing related supported to equip our customers with the knowledge, skills and tools that they need to be able to live independent lives.
You will also support our customers in engaging with recovery & treatment services by creating achievable support plans and facilitating appropriate workshops. Other Day to day duties:
- Liaising with external agencies
- Promoting wellbeing, recovery and social inclusion
- Managing crisis, safeguarding and financial awareness
- Housing Management
- Accurately maintaining records
Relevant work experience and knowledge of issues relating to vulnerable people
- A passion to work with and enable people to live as independent a life as possible
- A strong initiative and ability to work alone as well as being a great team player
- Ability to deal with conflicting and difficult situations
- Ability to provide shift leadership and team support
- Hold a Driving licence and have access to a car

A full-time, permanent, Project Worker within our Supported Accommodation Services across Cardiff. You will be required to work on a rolling rota which includes days, evenings, weekend availability and sleep-in shifts.
Pay and Pensions- £26,072.00
- Sleep-in rate: £62.64 per 8 hour shift
