You will use your knowledge and skills as a Biomedical Scientist to contribute to a robust and fully operational system within the department.
You will assist in building a strong team and support the Senior Biomedical Scientists to enable continual improvements in the department and throughout the Microbiology Network. An understanding of good laboratory practice and ISO
15189 quality management is desirable. The post holder will support the provision of a 24/7 service in accordance with a published rota.

To demonstrate our commitment and dedication of our staff we offer automatic progression to Band 6 on the successful completion of their IBMS Specialist Diploma (Medical Microbiology /Bacteriology) with 100% compliance of statutory and mandatory training and relevant competency documents. The successful post holders will be fully supported, with full training given from our training team. You will be encouraged to develop and opportunities will be given to enhance your career.
