Care Managers Ltd is a leading provider of high-quality domiciliary care services in Slough and the surrounding areas. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Domiciliary Care Worker to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis or part-time, with guaranteed hours.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes, following their individual care plans
- Work closely with care managers to develop and implement care plans, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and updated
- Supervise and support a team of care workers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
- Conduct regular assessments of clients needs and preferences, and make necessary adjustments to their care plans
- Liaise with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best possible care for clients
- Administer medication as prescribed and maintain accurate records
- Ensure all care workers are following company policies and procedures, and adhere to all relevant regulations and legislation
- Participate in on-call duties as required
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and reports
- Continuously strive to improve the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
- Act as a positive role model for care workers, promoting a person-centered and compassionate approach to care
- Assist with recruitment and training of new care workers as needed
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall development of the service
- Provide out-of-hours coordination support when needed
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a domiciliary care setting
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to use electronic call monitoring system (ECMS) to complete daily report, review care plan of service users
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Good understanding of relevant regulations and legislation
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care
- Flexible and adaptable to changing needs and schedules
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable)
