Inhouse Tax Manager

Overview

We are seeking a Tax Manager to join a marketing leading employer in Cardiff. This role requires a candidate who is brings a plethora of Corporate Tax experience to be able to work with our client and support them with the UK and International Tax obligations.

• Help manage the Group's entire tax function globally.
• This involves providing commercial tax support and advice to various business units.
• You'll also offer insights into the overall tax position, applying an in-depth knowledge of international tax issues and risks.
• Part of your job is to manage tax risks sensibly across all jurisdictions and transactions, including those related to WHT, VAT, corporate tax and employee mobility.
• Ensuring compliance with all types of taxes.
• You'll be essential in supporting the implementation of effective policies that help mitigate tax risk and exposure.
• Your role will include assisting in the oversight of the group's transfer pricing policy, making sure it's applied consistently throughout.
• We'll rely on you to maintain strong tax governance across the group, ensuring local finance teams follow the group tax policy and meet deadlines.
• You will support every aspect of tax delivery, especially for group and UK subsidiary audits.
• It's important to build and manage positive relationships with tax authorities and external tax advisors.

• A professional qualification in tax or accounting (e.g. CTA, ACA, ACCA).
• Proven expertise in handling Corporate tax compliance and advisory work.
• Strong knowledge of UK tax regulations and legislation.
• Multinational experience would be very advantageous
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently
