Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an exceptional Management Accountant to join our team. This role is key to ensuring robust financial control across all activities within the Development department.
You will work closely with colleagues in Development, building strong and productive relationships to maintain a smooth flow of information between the Development and Finance teams.
Supporting and facilitating the Finance Manager (Development), you will play a vital role in driving the continued growth of our ambitious housing development programme.
We are looking for someone who takes initiative, is proactive in problem-solving, and thrives in a dynamic environment.
ResponsibilitiesWhat will you be doing?
The individual will be key in ensuring that the development programme is financially robust and that its financial information is complete and accurate. This is an exciting role where you will add value by utilising relationships with the Development team to pre-empt issues/opportunities.
The role is hands on; you will support individual schemes from inception through to handover ensuring viability and value for money in addition to taking an overarching view of the development programme. You will be a key member of the Development Finance team and you will be responsible for producing management accounts, quarterly forecasts and VAT returns.
