Location: Cardiff

Salary: Up to £45,000

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm (4:30pm finish on Fridays)

Flexible Working: Part‑time considered (2–3 days) | Hybrid working (2–3 days from home)

As the Finance Manager, you'll take full ownership of the finance function and play a key role in providing accurate reporting, strong financial control, and valuable commercial insight to support strategic decision‑making alongside the Leadership Team.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the process and manage reconciliations and performance reporting.
• Day‑to‑day Finance Operations: Oversee invoicing, ledgers, payables/receivables, and payroll coordination.
• Management Accounts: Produce monthly and annual accounts and reports.
• Cash Flow & Working Capital Management: Ensure effective cash flow and manage aged debt.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to tax, regulatory, and internal requirements.

• Process Improvement: Develop and improve finance processes and controls.
• Stakeholder Relationships: Act as a trusted finance partner to Project Managers, Directors, and senior stakeholders.

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (professional qualification desirable)
• 5+ years of experience in finance, with strong expertise in reporting and budgeting
• Proficient in accounting systems (e.g., Sage) and Excel
• Strong commercial acumen, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
