Job Overview
Join the BBC Finance team within the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function to play a pivotal role in shaping financial planning and analysis across the organization. As an FP&A Analyst, you will prepare robust short‑to‑mid‑term divisional budgets and forecasts, partnering with Finance teams to deliver meaningful insights that drive decision‑making and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with budget holders and Finance teams to provide business advice that supports performance and decision‑making.
- Identify risks and opportunities within your business area promptly.
- Prepare divisional forecasts and budgets using data‑driven insights.
- Oversee self‑serve budget/forecast activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Deliver insightful commentary and variance analysis for stakeholders.
- Act as lead contact for divisional EFT analysis and finance‑related queries.
- Support collaboration across Finance functions and prepare management reporting packs.
- Assist with corporate information requests and submissions.
- Mentor and support FP&A Associate Analysts as needed.
- Professional accounting accreditation (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Strong FP&A experience with commercial acumen.
- Analytical mindset with ability to challenge and interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software.
- Ability to collaborate across Finance and non‑Finance teams.
- Experience in identifying process improvements and driving automation.
- Experience in business partnering and continuous improvement initiatives.

PROPOSED SALARY RANGE:
Upto £55,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
