We’re recruiting for a Finance Technician to join us at our Cardiff‑based Accounting Operations team. We’re offering a competitive base salary.

What you’ll befunktion doing- Preparing and posting daily and monthly Accounting Operations transactions
- Processing same‑day and intra‑account payments in line with documented procedures
- Reconciling financial data and investigating outstanding items
- Contributing to monthly financial and management accounts preparation
- Supporting the delivery of analytical insights and management information
- Maintaining and updating financial procedure notes
- Identifying and suggesting process improvements
- Collaborating with team members and supporting cross‑training initiatives
- Studying toward or holding a relevant qualification or experience in a finance or investment environment
- Understanding of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Effective communicator across different teams and levels
- Analytical mindset with problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive approach to improving processes and escalating concerns
