Finance Technician

We’re recruiting for a Finance Technician to join us at our Cardiff‑based Accounting Operations team. We’re offering a competitive base salary.

• Preparing and posting daily and monthly Accounting Operations transactions
• Processing same‑day and intra‑account payments in line with documented procedures
• Reconciling financial data and investigating outstanding items
• Contributing to monthly financial and management accounts preparation
• Supporting the delivery of analytical insights and management information
• Maintaining and updating financial procedure notes
• Identifying and suggesting process improvements
• Collaborating with team members and supporting cross‑training initiatives

• Studying toward or holding a relevant qualification or experience in a finance or investment environment
• Understanding of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Effective communicator across different teams and levels
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive approach to improving processes and escalating concerns
