Senior Engineer

Expanded are currently recruiting for a Senior Engineer to work on in our Power Sector.

Laing O'Rourke appointed as construction partner for National Grid's Great Grid Partnership.

Location:

Bridgend

• Managing a team of between 2 and 4 Section Engineers
• Utilise and recommend best engineering methods
• Design process knowledge
• RAMS
• Interpret as-built information
• Provides guidance to less experience staff
• Completes QA documentation and record keeping
• Implements ITP requirements
• Production of method statements or understanding of how they are produced
• Temporary works understanding and TWC (Temporary works coordinator)
• Understanding of materials and plant including call off schedules
• Aware of site HS&E procedures

• First degree in Civil Engineering Discipline, other construction related degree, or an industry recognised technical or engineering qualification (e.g. HNC, HND, NVQ level
  4) plus demonstrable experience in a construction delivery environment.
• Circa 5 years relevant technical / practical experience within an engineering role.
• Eligible to work in the UK / valid UK visa
• Professionally qualified / chartered by a recognised body - desirable
