Carrington West are pleased to be working with an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Town Planner to join a well-established and growing private planning consultancy based in Cardiff. The company has offices across the UK and works on a diverse portfolio of projects including residential, commercial, mixed-use, and strategic land developments.

This role offers the chance to work within a collaborative and supportive team while gaining exposure to a wide variety of planning projects.

The Role
As a Town Planner, you will support the delivery of planning projects and provide professional planning advice to clients.
Key responsibilities will include:

· Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals

· Conducting planning research and policy reviews

· Preparing planning reports and supporting documents

· Liaising with local authorities, clients, and other stakeholders

· Supporting senior planners on a range of projects
About You
We are keen to hear from candidates who have:

· Experience with in a private planning consultancy or relevant planning environment

· A degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline

· MRTPI status or working towards chartership

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· A proactive and collaborative approach to work
