Quantity Surveyor / Project Quantity Surveyor - Waste Water Capital Delivery
Cardiff | £45,000 - £55,000 + Package | Permanent | NEC Contracts | Utilities Infrastructure
The Opportunity- Report into a Managing QS and Senior QS
- Manage your own packages or smaller schemes within the framework
- Support the commercial delivery of waste water capital projects
- Gain strong exposure to NEC contracts (Options A &
C) - Develop toward Senior QS level
- Projects typically include treatment works upgrades, network improvements and associated civil engineering schemes delivered within a collaborative framework environment.

Key Responsibilities- Subcontract procurement and administration
- Management of Compensation Events under NEC
- Cost value reconciliation (CVR) and forecasting
- Change control and risk management
- Valuations, variations and final accounts
- Supporting senior commercial staff with reporting and client liaison
- Experience as a QS or Project QS within civil engineering, utilities or infrastructure
- Working knowledge of NEC contracts
- Strong subcontract management skills
- Experience managing variations and cost reporting
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar (preferred)
- Ambition to progress to Senior QS
- Framework or utilities experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Long-term secured framework work
- Clear progression route to Senior QS
- Exposure to major utility infrastructure projects
- Stable regional role in Cardiff
- Starting salary of £45,000 to £55,000
- Company car or £5,000 car allowance
