Your ImpactAs a skilled and experienced Land Quality Senior Consultant you will join our well‑established, market‑leading team supporting geo‑environmental complex projects, ensuring governance and compliance through all phases of delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Support geo‑environmental assessments for a variety of projects across a wide range of sectors – in some cases this will involve leading on specific aspects of the assessment.
- Develop and implement strategies for land quality assessment and remediation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality consultancy services.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
- Support the implementation of ground investigations and assessments to evaluate land contamination and environmental risks.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and team members.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related field;
Master’s degree preferred. - Demonstrable experience in geo‑environmental consultancy.
- Proven track record in supporting private sector projects across all project life‑stages (desk study through to remediation implementation).
- Good understanding of Detailed Quantitative Risk Assessment approaches.
- A sound knowledge of environmental legislation and risk assessment methodologies (including UK and international standards such as ASTM).
- Experience working with emerging contaminants such as PFAS.
- Sound analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Good digital data assessment expertise.
