RoleSummary:
Senior Process Science Engineer
They are seeking an experienced Chemical or Process Engineer to work closely with the Chief Technology Officer to advance and optimise production process; successful candidate will analyse operational data plan and guide production runs and lead the delivery of process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and implementation of process trials and testing programmes with the CTO.
- Manage analytical and modelling work streams using advanced simulation and process tools to achieve development milestones.
- Act as the link between R&D outputs and full‑scale operations ensuring smooth technology transfer and safe scale‑up.
- Plan and deliver the technology development roadmap identifying opportunities for process enhancement and product improvement.
- Support operations and engineering teams to resolve production challenges and guide continuous improvement efforts.
- Approximately 6 years experience in chemical or process engineering ideally within a start‑up research or advanced manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and modelling capability with tools such as COMSOL, Aspen or CFD.
- Experienced in the scale‑up of new or innovative processes from development to commercial operation.
- Skilled in creating a safe working environment; familiar with HAZOP and process safety management.
- A motivated hands‑on engineer with strong leadership and problem‑solving ability.
