£28,000 - £35,000 + Training + Progression + Referral Scheme + Company Benefits
United Kingdom (Remote)
Are you a qualified energy assessor skilled in SBEM calculations and compliance documentation, looking to join a growing consultancy supporting non-domestic and mixed-use projects?
Do you want a flexible, remote role where you can work on varied commercial and mixed-use developments?
This company is a UK-based energy and sustainability consultancy, established over 15 years ago, helping clients make buildings more energy-efficient, comfortable, and compliant with Building Regulations. They work on a variety of residential and mixed-use projects across the UK, combining technical expertise with a supportive, collaborative culture that values flexibility, professional development, and delivering high-quality advice to clients.
In this role, you'll focus on SBEM calculations, energy compliance reporting and BRUKL outputs for new or refurbished non-domestic buildings. You'll produce energy performance modelling to meet Part L2, capitalise on non-domestic EPC workflows, and provide practical advice to design and construction teams. Secondary tasks include supporting overheating/DTM assessments (TM59/Part O) as a valuable additional skill.
This role would suit a qualified NDEA or energy assessor with SBEM experience, who is interested in working remotely on non-domestic compliance projects and developing additional skills such as overheating and DTM assessments.
The Role:- Undertake SBEM calculations and produce BRUKL results for non-domestic buildings
- Issue non-domestic EPCs / compliance reports in line with Part L2 (new and refurbished)
- Liaise with architects, M&E engineers and clients to present compliance findings and recommendations
- Support modelling or mitigation of overheating / DTM where required (bonus)
- Maintain documentation, track project data, and support the technical team workflow
- Qualified NDEA or experience with SBEM assessments
- Understanding of non-domestic energy compliance (Part L2 / BRUKL)
