We are looking for graduates for our Building Services teams, who have a flexible approach and an appetite to learn in a leading Engineering and Professional Advisory services consultancy. A little bit more about your role and the team… Working as a Graduate in one of our Building Services teams, you will work on exciting and innovative projects, including large office buildings, hospitals, hotels, residential complexes, data centres and education buildings.
The role of a Building Services Engineer involves designing, developing, and maintaining the essential systems and services that ensure the functionality, safety, and comfort of buildings. This includes heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical systems, and public health services. The role is both challenging and rewarding, providing a chance to make a tangible impact on the built environment. You will be embedded in multidisciplinary teams and mentored by experienced engineers, gaining exposure to real‑world challenges and innovative solutions.

Building Services/MEP teams are dedicated to designing people‑centric, high‑performance buildings. Working closely with clients to fully understand the purpose and potential of each project, we ensure our solutions are robust for today’s needs and flexible for tomorrow’s ambitions. Our sector‑specific knowledge spans complex office environments, retail centres, museums, educational establishments, residential developments, laboratories and data centres. We have extensive experience in healthcare facilities and major transportation hubs such as train, subway stations, airports.
Day‑to‑DayActivities
- Collaborating with external stakeholders
- Conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards
- Drafting mechanical or electrical layouts using Revit or AutoCAD and running calculations
- Reviewing technical drawings and coordinating with other disciplines
- Supporting senior engineers in preparing tender documents
- Attending site visits to observe installations or conduct surveys
- Participating in sustainability assessments (e.g. BREEM)
Our two‑year Graduate Development Programme supports personal and professional development through blended learning, core business and professional skills training, career development workshops, mentoring for professional registration, and a breadth of on‑the‑job experience.
Employees often start as graduates and advance within the company. We encourage you to achieve chartered status with professional bodies such as IMechE and IET. You will be fully supported through enrolment in a professional institution’s training agreement, guiding you toward chartered or incorporated status.
What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate- Graduated with at least a 2:2 in a master’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject
- Complete the application form in full, answering all specific questions
- Pass the initial stage and complete an online skills enabler assessment
