We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our Material Transfer and Recovery (MTR) Compliance Team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for monitoring contract quality and performance, auditing material movement processes, and contributing to the development of efficient waste movement workflows. The position offers a stimulating mix of office-based responsibilities and on-site inspections.
What We Are Looking For From YouThe ideal candidate will have experience in waste auditing, environmental compliance, and recycling operations. They will be confident in providing clear instruction and maintaining high standards of operational performance.
Key attributes and requirements include:
- Demonstrated experience supervising operational teams within waste, recycling, or a similar environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, transport compliance, and environmental management practices.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- A valid driving licence and the ability to obtain and maintain status as a Technically Competent Manager.
This vacancy is suitable for post share.
This role is not suitable for flexible or agile working due to its operational nature.
The post will be based at both Lamby Way Depot however you will be expected to work from various locations and may be required to work overtime during peak periods.
A full and valid driving licence is an essential requirement for this role.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring our waste management services are safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible.
