Building Services Engineer

Responsibilities

• Produce drawings, schematics, specifications, and project documentation
• Complete load calculations, pipework sizing, and technical assessments
• Carry out site surveys of existing plant and distribution systems
• Support tender reviews and contractor evaluation
• Work closely with internal low‑carbon specialists to deliver integrated solutions
• Attend and lead client meetings; manage project tasks and deliverables
• Support and mentor junior engineers as the team continues to grow

• Experience designing mechanical building services
• Strong understanding of plant rooms, heating, cooling, and distribution systems
• Proficiency with CAD tools (Revit, CAD, Sketch Up)
• Ability to collaborate across engineering teams and communicate clearly with clients
• Desirable: experience in low‑carbon/renewable systems or working toward Chartership
• You're detail‑driven, technically sharp, and motivated by delivering high‑quality engineering solutions.
• You enjoy working on complex projects, contributing fresh ideas, and playing a part in the UK's journey toward low‑carbon heating.
