A leading engineering consultancy is currently seeking a Senior Principal Associate (Mechanical Engineering) to join their established team. This is a senior appointment, offering an office–based role with regular site inspections, ideal for an experienced mechanical engineer looking to operate at associate level with strong client exposure.

• Lead and review mechanical design work across a range of projects

• Act as a senior technical authority and point of reference

• Attend and carry out on–site inspections and surveys

• Represent the business in client meetings and project discussions

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members

• Degree–qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

• Extensive experience in mechanical design

• Comfortable in a client–facing, senior–level role

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Full UK driving licence essential
