What you’ll do – key duties
- Be an active and flexible member of the recruitment/events/widening access teams independently or along with other students and members of staff.
- To take groups of prospective students and their parents on tours around either campus. Visitors will be shown and given information about the buildings, ICT/learning facilities, Students Union and Sports facilities.
- Assist events such as Open Days, School Visit Days, interactive workshops with participants, welcome week, Reaching Wider Programmes, Summer School.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the university and the services/facilities available to students.
- Attendance at staff development/training as required appropriate to the event.
- Represent Cardiff Metropolitan University at Higher Education fairs around the UK.
As a current Cardiff Metropolitan University student, you will serve as a positive and responsible role model, demonstrating good knowledge of employability opportunities and progression routes within secondary and higher education.
You will bring enthusiasm and a friendly approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent student experience.
