Start Date:
September 2026 (or earlier if available) St Patrick’s RC Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our warm, inclusive and faith‑centred school community.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to make a real difference to children’s learning.
Responsibilities- Confidently lead whole‑class learning
- Support and deliver high‑quality teaching and learning across the school
- Work collaboratively to prepare engaging lessons and targeted interventions
- Build positive relationships with pupils and promote excellent behaviour
- Model our Catholic values and contribute fully to the wider life of the school
The successful candidate will be flexible, proactive and committed to ensuring all pupils thrive.
HLTA status is desirable; however, candidates with significant classroom experience and a willingness to work towards accreditation are welcome to apply.
Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC). This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
