Exam Invigilator - St David's Catholic College Summer

We are looking for Exam Invigilators for the upcoming exams at St David's Catholic College.

DBS essential - please state in your application if you have a current DBS check. Jobshop do not have the capacity to complete these for you, so you must already have one. You will be required to send Jobshop a copy of your DBS check before we book you in for any shifts.

This work will involve:

• The general supervision of candidates to ensure no malpractice during the examination period
• Ensuring mobile phones, iPods, earphones etc. are handed in before the start of the examination
• Any other duties that may be required during the period of the exam being supervised.

• Thursday 07/05 AM & PM
• Friday 08/05 AM & PM
• Monday 11/05 AM & PM
• Tuesday 12/05 AM & PM
• Thursday 14/05 AM & PM
• Friday 15/05 AM & PM
• Monday 18/05 AM & PM
• Tuesday 19/05 AM & PM
• Thursday 21/05 AM & PM
• Friday 22/05 AM & PM

Examtimes are
usually morning, 09:00 – 12:30, lunch time supervision
10:30 – 13:30 and afternoon 13:00 - 15:30. You may be asked to start/finish earlier/later as needed, we will confirm the shift times ahead of your first shift.

There will also be shifts available for weeks commencing 01.06 & 08.06.

Please confirm which dates AND times you are available to work in your application. For both May & June. Please be specific as we will use this to create the schedule.

Attendance is imperative, as without enough invigilators, exams will have to be cancelled.

• Previous experience in invigilation or a school environment is desirable.
• Online training provided - 1 hour, paid (if not previously completed with St Davids).

There is limited parking available on site.

You must be available for the whole shift

2. Include details of any relevant previous experience, particularly if you have invigilated before

3. State if you would be happy to be added to a pool of reserve invigilators to cover last minute cancellations

4. Confirm that you have a current DBS check - due to college rules, a current DBS is an essential requirement

Students are eligible to work through Jobshop for 3-months post their end of studies date ( usually noted on their student / proof of enrolment letter), providing all Right to Work documents (such as visas) are still in date. If you are on an hour s- limited visa, it is your responsibility to ensure you do not exceed the working- hour restriction Monday - Sunday , each week . This is a legal restriction that must be adhered to for work completed both within and outside of Jobshop.
