Looking to start a career in education? Aspire People are seeking enthusiastic graduates to work as Cover Supervisors in secondary schools across Cardiff. This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to gain valuable classroom experience before pursuing a teaching career or looking for flexible work.

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll be in charge of overseeing pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular teacher. It's a great way to gain firsthand experience of what it's like to work in a classroom, manage students, and support their learning.

• Supervise classes and ensure students remain on task with their work
• Support students during lessons, helping with any questions or difficulties
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
• Follow the lesson plans left by the teacher to ensure continuity of learning
• Assist students in staying focused and engaged during lessons

• A recent graduate (any degree subject)
• Passion for education and helping young people succeed
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to confidently manage groups of students
• Flexibility, reliability, and enthusiasm for the role
• No formal teaching qualification required, but experience working with young people is a plus!
