About the Role
As a Qualified Assessor, you’ll provide end-to-end support to apprentices throughout their learning journey. You’ll guide, coach, and assess learners using modern, effective approaches that help them succeed — both academically and professionally.
This is a varied, people-focused role combining workplace visits, tailored learning plans, and high-quality assessment practice.
Your Impact
You will:
* Deliver high-quality training tailored to individual learner needs
* Travel across your region to assess learners in their workplace
* Create and maintain Individual Learning Plans (ILPs)
* Assess workplace evidence against qualification standards
* Track attendance, progress, and guided learning hours accurately
* Support performance targets and learner achievement
* Arrange additional training, including day release and in-house sessions
* Maintain clear, compliant records aligned with awarding body requirements
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
* A recognised teaching or assessing qualification (A1, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent)
* Experience working within an apprenticeship setting
* Strong occupational competence in Health & Social Care
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
* Willingness to complete a DBS check (cost covered) and EWC registration
Desirable:
* Welsh speaking
