ANZUK is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Business and IT Teacher to a highly regarded secondary school in Cardiff who have received 'Excellent' in all measurement markers on their last Estyn report. This school is passionate about engaging their pupils to thrive in an engaging environment while allowing their staff the freedom to teach in creative and encouraging ways.
They are a very supportive team and provide all the resources and support needed for you to excel in your role.
- As a dynamic and motivated qualified teacher, you'll teaching IT lessons to KS3 students, and Business lessons to KS4 and KS5 students.
- You'll plan and deliver engaging, innovative lessons that spark curiosity and excitement, adapting learning to suit each individual. Alongside academic progress, you'll place equal value on pupils' wellbeing, confidence, and personal development.
- You'll be empowered to teach creatively, making the most of the schools extensive resources and specialist support to deliver meaningful, high-impact learning.
- This is a rotation role working Mon, Tue and Wed on week A and Mon and Wed on week
B. Perfect for those looking for an excellent work life balance.
- Deliver stimulating, personalised lessons on a daily basis. Most of the lessons will be planned for you, but some planning may be required
- Develop creative and innovative teaching approaches that engage and motivate learners
- Respond flexibly to the needs of pupils and providing extra support where needed.
- Observe, monitor, and assess pupil progress and wellbeing
- Create a positive, nurturing classroom environment where pupils feel safe and valued
- A passionate, enthusiastic Business and IT Teacher with a genuine desire to make a difference
- A confident communicator who builds strong, caring relationships with pupils
- Someone who thrives in a supportive, specialist school environment
- A team player who enjoys working closely with colleagues and other professionals
- A secondary teacher who values creativity, flexibility, and pupil-centred learning
- Experienced teaching Business and IT to KS3, KS4 and KS5 students
- Ability to adapt lesson plans to suit the different abilities of students to ensure effective learning is taking place
- Must hold QTS and be registered with the EWC
- Must have right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available for this role)
- Must be able to commute to Cardiff
