Trainee Health and Social Care (Children & Young People) Assessor

Contract:
Full-time, Permanent
Hours:
Monday-Friday, 09:00-16:30
Salary: £24,638 - £25,709
About the Role
We are looking for a Trainee Assessor to support apprenticeship learners in Children & Young People services. You will provide structured guidance, assess workplace evidence, and help learners achieve their qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Support learners throughout their apprenticeship journey
Travel to workplaces across the region for assessments
Create Individual Learning Plans and track progress
Maintain accurate records for compliance
Contribute to performance targets and learner success
What We're Looking For
Essential:
NVQ/QCF level 3 qualification or equivalent in health and social care (Children and Young People)
Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
DBS check (cost covered)
Desirable:
Welsh language skills
EWC registration or prior teaching experience
Teaching/assessing qualification (A1, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent)
