Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am 4:30pm (35 hours per week)
We have an amazing opportunity for a dedicated Children & Young People Qualified Assessor to support apprentices on their learning journey within Health and Social Care. This is a rewarding role for someone who is passionate about developing learners, maintaining high training standards, and making a genuine difference to future professionals in the sector.
You will provide structured, end-to-end support to learners, ensuring they are fully prepared to progress and successfully achieve their qualifications.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver CYP high-quality, learner-centred assessments tailored to individual needs
- Travel across a regional area to conduct workplace assessments
- Children and young people and develop, complete, and review Individual Learning Plans (ILPs)
- Assess and evaluate workplace evidence against qualification standards
- Maintain accurate records of learner attendance, progress, and guided learning hours
- Support learners to meet performance targets and complete their programmes
- Arrange and contribute to additional training, including day release and in-house sessions
- Ensure compliance with awarding body and audit requirements
