SEN Teaching Assistant / Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant – Cardiff.

An outstanding school based in Cardiff has an opportunity for Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants. The role will entail working 1:1 with a child with challenging behaviour. ALN experience is required.

Do you enjoy supporting and developing children? Do you have an enthusiastic and bubbly personality?

• Support a child with challenging behaviour on a 1:1 basis.
• Support students in their education on a 1:1 and small group basis.
• Contribute to a calm and supportive learning environment.

• Level 2 or 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 6 months’ experience in an educational establishment.
• A calm, patient and caring disposition.
• A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines.
• Experience in working with students in 1:1 and small group settings.
• Successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced Child Only disclosure and provide at least 2 references.
