Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a role that offers both fulfilment and balance? We’re seeking a confident, proactive Year 5 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in the CF10 area. This is a full-time position ideal for someone who thrives in a supportive environment and is ready to make a real impact in the classroom.
About the RoleYou’ll be working closely with the class teacher to support a lively Year 5 class, helping pupils reach their full potential through engaging learning activities and tailored support. The role involves small-group work, one-to-one support where needed, and assisting with planning and delivery of lessons.
You’ll also play a key role in supporting children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), so it’s important that you’re confident in adapting your approach to meet a variety of learning styles and needs.
What We’re Looking For- Previous classroom experience as a Teaching Assistant (essential)
- A solid understanding of the KS2 curriculum
- Experience supporting pupils with ALN
- A calm, positive and encouraging approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
