1:1 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a caring, committed, and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in a welcoming and inclusive school in Cardiff.
The Role
Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional learning needs (ALN)
Support learning, engagement, and emotional wellbeing throughout the school day
Work closely with the class teacher, ALNCo, and wider support team
Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Experience working with children, ideally in a 1:1 or ALN support role
A patient, nurturing, and flexible approach
Good communication and teamwork skills
An understanding of ALN such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or speech and language needs (desirable but not essential)
