SEN Teaching Assistant

Overview

Vision for Education work closely alongside a specialist school in Cardiff who are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced teaching assistant to join their school for both day-to-day supply and full-time positions.

• Support pupils in an education capacity who have difficulties with communication, eating, toileting as well as sensory difficulties.
• Be confident and capable of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour; build rapport with students and staff; work proactively to support a calm and positive learning environment.
• Contribute to a smaller class setting where you can build relationships and make a positive impression on the children.

• Ideally experience teaching/supporting autistic pupils with a good manner of building relationships with both students and staff. Experience is not always necessary; the right attitude and willingness to learn go a long way.
• Experience with learning difficulties or challenging behaviour is advantageous.

• Pay rate: £444.60 - £509.60 per week
