We have a population of almost 19,000 patients with two sites and a varied demographic from deprivation to affluence. Our ethos is to provide the exceptional patient care while also providing a supportive and collaborative environment for our staff.
We are a forward-thinking team who work closely to shape the delivery of care, ensuring it remains patient focussed and evidence based. The clinical team is expanding and developing; we are looking for an additional GP to join our team. The practice is part of Cardiff East Cluster, a harmonious group of four surgeries that collaborates to deliver projects to benefit our local community.
About The Practice
- 2-site practice (St. Mellons and Roath)
- GMS contract
- Currently working on Vision but will be switching to EMIS in 2026 (moving to electronic prescribing once the migration is complete)
- 8 Partners
- 6 Nurses (two of which are prescribers) & 1 HCA
- Training practice supporting years 1, 3 & 5 medical students, nursing students, pharmacy students, independent prescribing placements and GPST rotation placements.
- Non-onerous on-call commitments
- 100% achievement with QAIF / QOF points
- Same day access to local services via direct referral
- Strong management team and a supportive and dedicated reception and admin team.

Please note that first on-call doctor duties are a requirement of this role and are scheduled fairly on a rotational basis between the clinical team and proportionate to your sessions.
