Role – Senior Landscape Architect

Our client, a multidisciplinary studio is looking for a Senior Landscape Architect to join its growing landscape team in Cardiff. The studio has a long-established reputation for delivering high quality projects across sectors including education, residential, healthcare, leisure and mixed‑use developments. The landscape team works closely with architects and urban designers, contributing to projects from early concept stages through to detailed design and delivery.

This Senior Landscape Architect position will suit someone chartered (CMLI) with both design and landscape planning experience, who enjoys working across the full project lifecycle from early concepts through to planning and delivery.

The successful Senior Landscape Architect will lead landscape input across a range of projects and will be involved in both creative design work and project delivery.

• Leading landscape design packages across multidisciplinary projects
• Preparing concept and detailed design information
• Supporting planning submissions including landscape and visual assessments where required
• Coordinating with architects, consultants and wider project teams
• Managing client relationships and supporting project delivery

• A degree in Landscape Architecture
• Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute
• Experience across both landscape design and landscape planning work
• Strong design capability and experience delivering projects through planning and technical stages
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams
• Comfortable leading project elements and mentoring junior staff
• Good communication and presentation skills
